If you are still spending a lot of time on social networking sites to get leads or paying $ to get bulk leads cheaply in 2024, then you are failing your business.
Getting leads that way worked well in the past because there were fewer alternatives, but it’s not as effective as it used to be, especially with AI at our disposal.
6 Ways to Make Leads Come to You
1. Write Articles
This is easier than ever before with the help of AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini. Do not promote AI to write articles for you, or you will end up wasting time and effort.
Use these tools to generate blog ideas around your niche, get adequate help from the tools, and write valuable articles yourself. At the end of the article, ask visitors to sign up for your newsletter.
2. Make Videos
If you’re comfortable talking in front of a camera, then this is the best time for you to put your skills to good use. Make videos that can add value to your potential customers and ask them to subscribe and sign up for your newsletter. You can add a link in the description/comment to collect emails.
3. Guest Blogging
Use the first method and instead publish the article on fellow bloggers’ websites. This is a little harder than writing on your blog, as you have to reach out to bloggers who accept guest writers, but this is greatly rewarding. Not only will it bring users to your blog, but it will also boost your website authority, attracting more users.
You can use a cold-email outreach tool to automate the process of contacting bloggers. To find websites/emails accepting guest blogs, Google “write for us” + [your industry/related niche].
4. Podcasts and Interviews
Everyone is listening to podcasts. So, if you can speak well, contact a few podcasters/interviewers and share your expertise with their audience.
If you are good at asking questions, you can also start your very own podcast. Invite experts around your niche to your podcast to talk about their expertise and share interesting stories related to your industry.
5. Leverage Social Media
Instead of scanning social media to get leads, become a content creator and push content. This is my personal favorite, as you can start getting leads within an hour.
Different social media platforms cater to various businesses. For example, use LinkedIn for B2B and SaaS, Instagram for lifestyle products, or YouTube for consumer products, personal growth, and courses.
6. Offer Ebooks, Templates, or Tools
This is commonly called lead magnets. You can create a useful ebook, template, or tool that you can offer to your website/blog visitors.
Add a popup on your website that displays after 2-3 seconds and ask the user to share their email so you can send them the free ebook, template, or tool.
Final Thoughts
In 2024, stop relying on outdated lead generation methods. Instead, focus on creating valuable content like articles, videos, and lead magnets to attract organic leads. Use AI tools and leverage social media to build trust and grow your audience.
By offering valuable resources and being consistent, you’ll naturally draw leads to your business.
